The Graduate School of East Asian Studies

Three-Year Doctoral Program

Covering a variety of educational and research fields focusing on East Asia, the Graduate School of East Asian Studies is a new type of graduate school featuring a three-year doctoral program. The goal of the program is to develop high quality professionals who flourish and play key roles in East Asia, which is set to become a center of global activity in the new century.

Three courses of study have been prepared to satisfy students’ academic ambitions: East Asian Comparative Cultural Studies; East Asian Economics, Management and Law; and East Asian Educational Development.

Students who have completed their course at the Graduate School of the Humanities may enter the Graduate School of East Asian Studies.
