Studying Abroad & Exchange Students

Student Life

In recent years, there has been a constant increase in the number of foreign students studying and carrying out research activities at Japanese universities and other institutions of higher learning. Sharing experiences with overseas students helps to deepen mutual understanding and plays an important role in strengthening friendships with foreign countries. With these aims in mind, Yamaguchi University has established the International Exchange Committee to bring some real focus and energy to the issue both by welcoming foreign students in to the university and by supporting students to go on placements abroad.
A variety of exchange agreement with foreign universities enable students to study abroad while still enrolled in the Faculty of Humanities. Credits received from universities listed in the page below can count towards graduation at Yamaguchi University.
