Review Criteria for Theses

The assessment of theses in the Graduate School is based on the following criteria:

1.Originality

Whether the research theme has originality and academic significance to the subject in question.

2.Rigour

Whether the thesis shows a strong grasp of the outcomes of previous and related research, and demonstrates sound, logical reasoning.

3.Clarify

Whether the thesis clarifies its subject and proceeds with logical analysis, consistent arguments and substantive proof.

4.Development

Whether the research theme contains within it the possibility of development and expansion in the future.
